Our cherished cultural heritage preservation piece, the DOM Basket Mini showcases a rare weaving technique know-how from the marginalized Brno Tribe in Darfur Sudan. The basket is woven with pliable palm leaves from the indigenous Doum Tree which produces a beautiful white to light beige palm leaf. The basket is reinforced with Italian leather crafted at EILAF’s partner leather atelier in Ubrique, Spain. This is the perfect bag for the beach, running errands around the city in the summer, and going to the market for flowers.
